My Gym Love

A couple of weeks ago, after finding Sean hanging upside down our counter tops (don’t ask how, I have no idea) I signed Sean up for classes at our local My Gym.

Sean is incredibly busy and I was desperate to get him active in something that would not only have him interact with other kids and teachers, but teach him physical activity skills that will help him when he begins playing on sports team in a couple of years.

*Yes, he will be playing sports. The boy and his dad live for football and baseball. It is in their blood.*

So far, I have been extremely impressed. I know it is helping Sean and he is having a great time.

If you are looking for something to enroll your child in while they are young, I highly recommend My Gym.  You can have your child participate in a free class to see how they like it and you can observe and ask questions. The teachers have been great with him, especially since he has not been to many classes in the past. Perfect for busy kids and for moms/dads too.

What have you enrolled your children in to keep them busy?

Happy Birthday to my Buddy!

Dear Sean,

Happy birthday sweet boy! 3 years ago I was literally hunched on the floor in your grandparents home while they were on vacation (no guilt I promise Mom Harper!) experiencing those powerful contractions, knowing full well you would be making your grand appearance on this incredible holiday.

While everyone enjoys fireworks today and celebrates our Nation’s birthday, I will enjoy those colorful lights with you on my lap, thanking God for giving me the sweetest, most loving, smartest, adorable, mischievous and funniest boy on the planet.  I love your laugh and that dimpled grin that absolutely gets me every time.  I am positive you will use it to get out of whatever trouble you find yourself in!

These 3 years have flown by. Soon, you will begin Pre-school and you will make new friends and want to hang out with daddy a lot  more.  Right now I am your favorite and I am selfishly enjoying your hugs and kisses that you give me.  God has given me beautiful, kind, loving and happy children. I could not ask for anything more!

I hope you have a great birthday Sean! We love you so much.

My Buddy

On Saturday Madi and Dan headed out to see their cousin ride in a rodeo.  (Sorry folks, no pictures).  Dan forgot to bring a camera.

But……

I have really cute photos of a certain two year old that I got to hang out with since we couldn't go for that TWO HOUR DRIVE up north.

So here you go.  My little buddy. Warning: you are about to witness some serious cuteness. You might want to think of having some babies, or more, if you keep staring at them. Just saying.

Scarlet Fever Anyone?

This weekend, I spent my time cuddling with this little guy:

We had to take him to Urgent Care on Friday because he wasn't eating and was very lethargic. Which by the way is very unlike my son.

Seriously, the child is like a human hurricane tearing through my house every day.

So to see him be so, well, clingy and sad was very hard for this momma to see.

Turns out he had scarlet fever and Pharyngitis (which is basically a fancy term for a throat infection). So they gave him antibiotics.

And we spent the entire weekend cuddling.

Today  he was (practically) back to normal and now Madi and I are not feeling well.

Ahhhh life sure is fun huh?

Let the craziness begin!

Happy Birthday Sean!

Two years ago, while practically all of Dan’s family were on vacation and I told them that Sean would NOT be born on the holiday, which was his due date…..

I gave birth to the most adorable, active, mischievious little red head. His name is Sean and he is two today.

Happy birthday to my big boy! We love you so much!

And Happy 4th of July!

Love,
Mommy, Daddy & Madi

Happy Birthday Sean!

Happy Birthday Sean!

2 Years Ago Today

I began feeling the contractions that would forever change my life.

A long drive to the hospital, then being sent home only to return the next morning, the 4th of July…..and I fell in love with the most perfect little being.

To be continued…..

Shopping For Boys

When I had Madi, it was pretty easy for me to pick out cute, adorable and girly outfits for her.

I mean, the stores are crammed with gorgeous outfits for little girls.

For Sean, it was and still is a little harder.

I am all about the layers.

I got a coupon in my inbox today from The Children's Place and I decided to use it to update Sean's wardrobe.  I have been cramming his poor little body into some 12 month tops.

He is 20 months old. *ahem*

I couldn't resist some of these outfits! Darling for little boys!

Ummm…ADORABLE!!!!

I signed up for their email updates because they are ALWAYS promoting deals and sending coupons your way.  So if you need some clothes for your little ones check them out!

*I am not affiliated nor am I paid by The Children's Place. I just really like their clothes for my kids.*

Warning: My Boy Pulls Hair

So I posted this picture last week on my facebook:

Hair. Madi's hair to be exact.  Hair that Sean, oh yes, Sean pulled, no, yanked out of her head.

Why did he do that?

I have no idea.

My boy is NUTS!

Is it nap time yet?

Meeting Their Hero’s

A couple of weeks ago Dan and I took Madi and Sean to Disneyland.

I was really excited for Sean to meet Mickey Mouse.  He says Mickey about 7979236934567890 times a day.  No really.

So we went to Toon Town, walked happily together to Mickey's "House" and Mickey was right there.

And Sean couldn't take his eyes off of him.  It was so precious.

And Madi got to meet Aladdin and Jasmine.

It was a great day at Disneyland.

Have a great weekend friends!
